AFL Masters in Sydney AFL Masters is AFL football for over 32's and has been played for a number of years in Sydney in varying numbers and teams.

What is AFL Masters for the Norwest?

Briefly the players will come from all over the North West region of Sydney and meet at one of several different grounds within the region on variance of days over a weekend.

Normally when the players meet their names are placed onto team sheets at random, someone is selected as Captain to assign positions, then get out and play footy. There are modified rules to protect the players, as one of our adages is that we still need to be able to go to work on Monday. more -->

GWFA Magpies now AFL Sydney West Magpies At the recent AGM & subsequent Extra Ordinary meeting, it was voted that the GWFA be dissolved to make way for the AFL (NSW/ACT) restructuring of administrating Australian Rules Football in the Greater Sydney Basin.
